Friendlypak provides a range of environmentally friendly products for use in hospitals, we can visit your premises, take a look at what you are already using and suggest some alternative products to make your switch to environmentally friendly easy.
We currently supply hospitals around New Zealand with our PotatoPak disposable hospital trays. The tray is popular because it’s the ideal shape and is nicer to use than the Stainless Steel, plastic and foil trays. It also meets all the required hygiene and safety standards expected in a hospital environment. Usually used for the purpose of carrying implements, syringes, IV injection equipment and medication around the wards however the trays are also useful for other applications such as a bedside tray for patients holding medications, creams and swabs. After use the tray can be incinerated, composted, used as animal feed or in a worm farm.
We can also supply liners to fit bins in cafes, for customers to dispose of their compostable packaging and food waste. These can be emptied daily and picked up by a waste collection service. There are liners available to fit most size bins for other areas within the premises.
For cabinet food display, we have a new product range that has just become available - our Bamboo range, which has proven to be hugely popular. Designed to be disposable and 100% compostable, simply dispose of it along with your organic waste.
For the kitchen and food preparation we have a variety of products, from timber cutlery and unbleached recycled serviettes to our biodegradable cling film , which can be disposed of after use in the Max & Tall Air bins. As well as being biodegradable and compostable this cling film is also safe and non-toxic. We can send a rep to your premises to evaluate which of our products would best suit your cafeteria and kitchen.
